\nAtambua, NTTOnlinenow.com – Hasil pertemuan CD Bethesda Yakkum Yogyakarta area Belu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Belu, KPA NTT, KPA Belu dan Pemerintah Timor Leste di Hotel Setia, Rabu (29\/6\/2022) sepakati beberapa poin pencegahan HIV-AIDS di perbatasan RI-RDTL.<\/p>\n

Hal tersebut dibenarkan Koordinator CD Bethesda Yakkum Yogyakarta area Belu, Yosafat Ician ketika dihubungi media, Kamis sore (30\/6).<\/p>\n

Menurut dia, beberapa poin hasil kesepakatan dalam pertemuan terbatas membahas upaya pencegahan HIV-AIDS yakni, layanan pengobatan bagi ODHA.<\/p>\n

Layanan tersebut mencakup beberapa item antara lain, perlu informasi tentang tempat-tempat layanan konsultasi, obat ARV, tempat VCT.<\/p>\n

Perlu informasi tentang mekanisme, prosedur, pembiayaan, ODHA mengakses layanan tersebut.<\/p>\n

Mengaktifkan Kelompok Dukungan Sebaya ( KDS) kedua negara melalui WAG sehingga memantau komunitas sebaya yang melintas atau berada di negara lain untuk mengakses layanan ARV.<\/p>\n

Poin berikutnya, pencegahan bagi masyarakat di perbatasan kedua negara yang mencakup beberapa item yakni, sosialisasi HIV dan AIDS serta mobile VCT bagi warga di sekitar perbatasan.<\/p>\n

Penyediaan kondom di tempat-tempat strategis seperti pintu masuk perbatasan kedua negara.<\/p>\n

Perlu pertisipasi masyarakat, bentuknya mengefektifkan Warga Peduli AIDS (WPA) untuk aktif membetikan informasi HIV dan AIDS serta mendorong masyarakat untuk melakukan tes HIV.<\/p>\n

“Kesepakatan tersebut akan efektif berjalan secara berkelanjutan, maka dibutuhkan kesepakatan bersama (MoU) yang berrsifat teknis operasional antara kedua negara,” harap Yosafat.<\/p>\n

Lanjut dia, terkait itu KPA Propinsi NTT & KPA Timor Leste (INCSIDA TL) ditugaskan untuk melakukan komunikasi dengan pemerintah nasional masing-masing untuk realisasi MoU dan aturan turunan MoU.<\/p>\n

Sambil menunggu regulasi formal kedua negara (MoU), maka sepakat membuat WAG sebagai media komunikasi, khususnya membantu ODHA yang mengalami kesulitan ketika tidak berada di negaranya.<\/p>\n

Kemudian adakan pertemuan rutin setiap 6 bulan untuk mengevaluasi hasil-hasil kesepakatan bersama.<\/p>\n

“Poin-Poin ini diharapkan diakomodir dalam MoU atau turunan MoU, misalnya Perjanjian Kerja Sama (PKS) spesifik Pemkab di daerah perbatasan RI-RDTL,” pinta Yosafat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
